Piano Tuning
Piano tuning is a crucial component of piano maintenance. It is a delicate and meticulous art, ensuring that the instrument is functioning at optimum levels of smoothness and efficiency.
When a piano is not properly tuned, it can sound fuzzy and unpleasant.
Piano tuning is all about string tensions. By listening and adjusting the frequencies,
the tuner can make the strings vibrate at the required pitches.
Because piano tuning is so complex, tuners are required to learn specialized skills and techniques. I am an RPT, (Registered Piano Technician member of the Piano Technicians Guild.) This means that I have trained and passed rigorous exams in order to achieve this level. I am the only RPT in the Lampasas, Kempner, Lometa, Killeen, Copperas Cove, Harker Heights TX area.
I have experience with a wide range of pianos, and will be able to address the unique needs of each instrument.
